Anushree received a Travel Award and presented her PhD work at the CHARGE meeting in Bethesda, MD

Congratulations to Anushree Ray for receiving a prestigious Travel Award to attend the CHARGE Consortium Meeting in Bethesda, Maryland, where she presented her PhD research. Anushree’s work focuses on integrating single-cell eQTL data with genome-wide association results to refine transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS) at the single-cell level.

At CHARGE, she shared insights from her novel framework that combines Mendelian randomization and colocalization to uncover cell-specific mediators of genetic risk for complex diseases. Her application to atherosclerotic traits highlighted distinct transcriptional drivers of cardiovascular risk across immune and vascular cell types.

Well done, Anushree, on this recognition and for continuing to push the boundaries of single-cell genomics in complex trait research!
