Anushree presented her work at the European Human Genetics Conference in Milan

📣 Today, at the European Human Genetics Conference in Milan, Italy, Anushree Ray presented her PhD work proposing a novel framework for transcriptome-wide association studies at the single-cell level as a follow-up analysis to genome-wide data.

Anushree developed a protocol that integrates single-cell expression quantitative trait loci (eQTLs) with genome-wide association study (GWAS) data in Mendelian randomization and colocalization. She applied it to atherosclerotic endpoints and detected interesting cell-specific drivers of the genetic predisposition to cardiovascular disease.

👏 Congratulations to Anushree for leading this effort in the context of her excellent PhD work!
